Resonance: A Duo Exhibition feat. Charlotte Filbert & Sara Lundkvist
The Miller Gallery is pleased to present Resonance, a duet exhibition featuring Charlotte Filbert and Sara Lundkvist, on view through June 2026.

Bringing together layered abstract paintings and handblown mirrored glass forms, Resonance explores reflection, perception, and the emotional reverberation artwork can leave behind long after viewing.

In a city known for its history and tradition, the exhibition introduces something slightly unexpected: sleek reflective surfaces, vibrant fractured patterns, and otherworldly sculptural forms that shift with light, movement, and perspective. The result feels immersive, futuristic, and deeply atmospheric - while still remaining grounded in human connection and curiosity.
CHARLOTTE FILBERT

Charlotte Filbert is a well-known American artist and painter, born on October 22, 1980. She has sold more than 10,000 paintings worldwide to date. Charlotte showed her interest in painting at the early age of 5 and has since then exhibited her work in several galleries and art fairs from the late 90s to the present day. She attended Bryn Mawr Preparatory School during her formative years and later, in 1998, she earned her BFA in Painting and Art History from The College of Santa Fe in New Mexico.

Charlotte’s paintings move between two distinct visual languages: glossy black circular works that quietly mirror the viewer back at themselves and vibrant patterned compositions filled with movement, fragmentation, and rhythmic energy. Sleek and minimal in one moment, expansive and expressive in the next, her works explore ideas of frequency, repetition, and emotional resonance.

SARA LUNDKVIST

Based in Stockholm, glass artist Sara Lundkvist creates artworks that are otherworldly.
Sara first became intrigued with glass because of its complex materiality: the intense heat makes it very challenging to work with, while the material itself is incredibly fragile. Ever since she studied at Orrefors Glass School, she has pushed the boundaries of what is possible to create with glass, often inventing new shapes and expressions in the process. After completing her MA in Ceramics and Glass at KonsHack University of the Arts, Crafts and Design, she initiated the female glass group BOOM!, based on sisterhood and the need among glass artists to share their knowledge with one another.

Sara’s reflective glass portals continue that dialogue through sculptural forms inspired by transformation, illusion, and imagined worlds. Shifting with light and perspective, the mirrored surfaces blur the line between object and atmosphere, inviting moments of curiosity, distortion, and self-reflection.

Together, Resonance unfolds as a conversation between stillness and movement, clarity and distortion, minimalism and complexity - exploring the subtle ways artwork can hold energy, memory, and connection.

"Resonance" will be on view throughout the month of June. Questions? Please email info@themillergallery.com - we're here to help!
