Caleb Fournier is a Charleston based artist. A musician, amateur chef, and creative entrepreneur, he started painting as an outlet to express the sounds and feelings he couldn't convey through other outlets. His color pallet and compositions are heavily influenced by sound, groove, vibe, architecture, design or whatever music he is listening to.
"I use “whatever is around” ranging from acrylic, leftover house paint, pastels and sometimes pen, with a varnish. My darker pieces have hints of punk rock and evidence of growing up in an oppressive school system in Lancaster, PA. You will find Amish figures and psychedelic flowers in my earlier work. My new collection is more free flowing with notes of cynicism".
When not painting, Caleb spends time with his wife and dogs, driving with the top down, or immersed in the live music community of Charleston.
