Paul McIntosh

Paula McIntosh creates photographs and hand-printed cyanotypes inspired by the natural details she notices around her. Each cyanotype begins with one of her original photographs and is individually coated, exposed, washed, and finished by hand.

Her earlier career in interior design continues to influence the way she thinks about composition, color, scale, and how artwork lives within a space. Based in Charleston, South Carolina, Paula is especially drawn to flowers, trees, water, changing light, and the familiar landscape of the Lowcountry.
