For The Record | A Group Exhibition
The Miller Gallery is excited to present For the Record, a group exhibition celebrating the intersection of art, music, and the cultural icons that stay with us.

Featuring work by Stephen Wilson, Jo Hay, Angela Chrusciaki Blehm, and more, the exhibition brings together a playful mix of portraiture, mixed media, collage, and contemporary interpretations of familiar faces and sounds. From legendary musicians and beloved albums to the nostalgia and memories tied to the music we love, For the Record explores the lasting influence of music through the eyes of contemporary artists.

Equal parts art exhibition and love letter to music, For the Record invites collectors to turn up the volume, revisit old favorites, and discover something new.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS
Stephen Wilson expertly crafts extraordinary and timeless designs using sustainable materials. Each art piece embarks on a journey, starting with an up-cycled luxury bag, box, silk scarf, or album. Wilson meticulously creates a bespoke embroidery design, delicately intertwining every stitch by hand. Once the design, colors, and elements are meticulously selected, the artistic process advances to the assembling stage. The boxes and bags undergo a mesmerizing transformation, metamorphosing into captivating canvases for Wilson's creations. The embroidery is seamlessly integrated into the chosen medium, unveiling a captivating texture that breathes life into the artwork. Appliqués, patches, and butterflies are individually stitched out, meticulously crafted, and delicately placed on each piece, culminating in a truly distinctive and unparalleled masterpiece. Finally, each artwork is beautifully presented, encased in an acrylic frame, ready to enchant all who behold it.

Angela Chrusciaki Blehm is an American artist, with a BFA in Studio Arts from the University of Houston. She works from her home studio in Gainesville, Georgia.
Shifting from dreams to reality, experience to perception, Angela’s art explores traditional and stereotypical female roles through pattern manipulation and experimentation with scale. She chases color as an antidote to life in her pursuit of happiness. Sexuality, absurdity, playfulness, obligations, and nature all manifest on canvas or on her layered wood assemblages.British-American portrait artist Jo Hay chooses subjects who channel empowerment.
Earning an MFA from the New York Academy of Art, Hay is known for her vibrant brushstrokes and bold subject matter centered on social justice, identity, and visibility. Hay’s rabbit series exploded in popularity in the late 2010s, and as each body of work sold out, she began offering archival prints of select rabbit portraits.
In 2025, Hay introduced two major new bodies of work. Super Sapphics, a portrait series honoring nine groundbreaking lesbian singer-songwriters, celebrates courage, visibility, and queer excellence through Hay’s characteristically expressive, large-scale style. Heavenly Creatures, a luminous collection of celestial-titled rabbit portraits, expands her exploration of presence, mythology, and emotional intensity.
Hay now resides in Provincetown, MA with her wife, Carolyn. To commission an original oil portrait, please contact the gallery with size and subject matter requests.
