Sea Song

The Miller Gallery is pleased to present Sea Song, a collaborative duo exhibition featuring artists Teresa Roche and Liz Rundorff Smith. On view throughout May, the exhibition explores the rhythm, movement, and memory of the sea through a layered dialogue of material, texture, and form.

Bringing together original artwork alongside a new line of textiles and wallcoverings, Sea Song expands beyond traditional formats—blending fine art with material design. The exhibition creates an immersive environment that feels both grounded and transportive, reflecting on the ways the ocean shapes not only the physical landscape, but also our emotional and sensory experiences.

Drawing inspiration from the natural rhythms of the coastline, Sea Song unfolds as a visual meditation on water in motion. Soft palettes, organic forms, and layered surfaces echo the shifting qualities of the sea—from quiet, glassy mornings to windswept, textural currents. Together, the artists create a compelling dialogue between structure and fluidity, permanence and change.
