1975: Angela Chrusciaki Blehm Solo Exhibition
Known for her bold use of color and playful exploration of nostalgia, Blehm’s newest body of work takes viewers on a kaleidoscopic journey through five decades of pop culture, memory, and desire.
1975 playfully abstracts bits and pieces from 50 years of observations and obsessions — where roller rink lights met disco dreams, and the shimmer of solid gold dancers flickered across boxy television screens.Through layers of painted pattern, texture, and form, Blehm conjures a world that feels both deeply familiar and wildly new. The works invite viewers to reflect on their own timelines — to revisit the cultural touchstones, aesthetics, and fascinations that have shaped who we are and what we love.
