Salt & Soil | Feat. Kiah Bellows & Charlotte Fraser
We are pleased to introduce our latest exhibition, Salt and Soil featuring two South Carolina artists: Kiah Bellows and Charlotte Fraser. Kiah Bellows, with her breezy, colorful abstract landscapes, and Charlotte Fraser, whose hyperrealist shells + palm fronds capture the magic of the coast.
Together, their work feels like a conversation—land meeting sea, bold abstraction alongside delicate realism, big sweeping views next to the tiniest details. It’s a love letter to South Carolina’s landscapes, both vast and intimate.
About The Artists
Kiah Bellows
Born in Southern California, Kiah Ann Bellows is a West Coast woman at heart. Raised by her architect father and artist mother, Kiah arrives at her art through her brilliant creativity and love of travel. Over the years she has lived in several other states, including Utah and North Carolina. Currently, she resides with her husband Jacob in the upstate of South Carolina, with a studio based in Greenville. The mighty landscapes of Kiah’s various homes have also permanently impacted her vibrant imagination, and find themselves into the spirit of all her paintings. The vibrant colors of the Western skies particularly resonate with her and have become the inspiration for many of her creations.

Charlotte Fraser
Charlotte Fraser is a Lowcountry native, born and raised in Hilton Head. With creative parents who fostered a love of the arts and the natural world around us, Charlotte has been making art since childhood. After graduating from Clemson with her bachelors and Harvard with her masters, she spent many years as an art teacher, cultivating the skills and passions of her students from Arkansas, DC, to Charleston. Now, as a full-time mother and artist, she works in her home studio in Charleston, SC. Her strong draw to macro photography has inspired her paintings of singular strong subject. This intentional way of painting gives full respect and appreciation to every aspect of that subject. Charlotte is a representational artist, working in acrylic, gouache, watercolor, and charcoal.
